We love uniforms. We use them all the time in our day to day lives, and not just because we have to because of a governing body that tells us we have to. We like it, it gives us a sense of place and identity. When we get up in the morning and we put on that uniform, whether it is a strict uniform like that of a policeman or fireman, or if it is a more loose “suit” or even casual clothing brightly coloured because you work with kids… the putting on of that uniform makes you feel like that role. Putting on that shirt makes you feel smarter and pushes you into the headspace of working smartly. Wearing the armour and fire protected material of a fireman makes you feel strong and protected from fire, ready to be brave and save lives. The very act of putting your uniform on changes how you feel internally.
The uniform also changes how people view you externally as well. When you see a policeman or policewoman in the street in the uniform, you immediately make a whole host of assumptions about them. You see them in a different way to someone else who is just wearing normal clothes on the same street. So you can now see how this changes not just how you feel, but about how other people feel about you as well.
Uniforms make you feel sexy
If you are the one wearing the uniform, then you are the one that gets to experience the change of “state”, the change of how you feel about yourself. If you wear a uniform in a sexy setting, then that uniform can make you feel much sexier… and how you feel about yourself makes a huge difference to how you come across. If you feel sexy, then by definition, you will come across as sexier.
Uniforms make other people view you as sexier
If the person looking at you thinks that the uniform you are wearing is connected to a role that is seen by them as sexy, they will see you as someone who is sexier. You will, in their eyes, be sexier. As the nature of attraction happens in the mind and the body, this means that you will actually be sexier!
