Welcome to March, and what a strange start to the month it has been. Whilst there are a number of people that claim there is no evidence of climate change, that we are having no impact on the warmth of the world, I think that this week has stood as personal testament and evidence that this may not be the case! We have seen a white Christmas morning, clean and beautiful and perfect… and it is March! Not even January!
The cold weather has a strange effect on people in all sorts of ways. People work slower and less productively than they usually do, so output drops. People get lazier and want to do less with their time, this comes from an old hard coded instinct about preserving energy I think in the cold, from our caveman roots. In Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales particularly, everything shuts down. Just as a single leaf on the tracks can cause the rail network to close, so can a little snow stop the country from moving!
When it comes to your relationship with a fuck buddy, this is a double-edged sword. If you already have a fuck buddy then it is a good thing, in fact it is a great thing. There are so many other things that have been cancelled, it leaves more time for sex. The cold makes it feel like the night comes earlier, and that is when you head to bedroom – earlier than usual. There is no better way to keep warm than by snuggling up naked with a girl or a guy, and no better way to raise your body temperature than by getting gigidy. Time in bed under a duvet becomes one of the best things ever, it really does! If your friends with benefits lives close, that is even better, get them around in a shot, turn the heating up and they will never leave!
The down side is that there are less people hitting the market right now. Motivation drops, people are less inclined to go out to meet new people. So, if you can get motivated to send some messages out, this means that you are going to be in a great position. You will be in a minority of people that are talking to other potential fuck buddies, which means you are also more likely to meet some. The competition is simply thinner.
So if you don’t have a fuck buddy, now is the perfect time to go and get one.
