As 2015 is almost 2 months old (where the hell did February go?!), it’s time to refresh yourself as to why you’re on this site. 1. No Strings Attached
This was by far the top benefit voted for. The majority of our members claimed that not having to worry too much about whether or not the other person wants more or less is brilliant. Sex with no social consequences.
2. No Bullshit
One of the next best things about casual sex that our members voted on was the ‘no bullshit’ element to it. Being up front and honest that you just want someone for sex is something that has really come to the fore over the past 20 years. As long as you’re honest about what you want and respect your partner, then go for it!
3. Very Convenient
Unlike regular dating, a causal sex arrangement can mean greater convenience. If you’re living a busy life but have either had no time or desire to engage in a deeper relationship, the convenience of sex on tap with no strings is handy. Sex is literally just a phone call away without the emotional baggage that usually comes with it.
4. Freedom to Experiment
With casual sex comes the knowledge that if you try a position that doesn’t work out too well, it doesn’t matter as much as it would in a relationship. There is less need to impress a partner. That said you can’t be a lazy lover. You can feel free to embrace all your dirtiest desires without fear of being ridiculed.
5. Good for Self Esteem
Casual sex is only bad for self esteem if you already have low self-esteem. It is excellent for boosting your self esteem if you’re looking to gain experience in sex. Having different lover and trying new and wonderful techniques is very rewarding and puts you in good stead as a lover for any future relationship.
