What foods can increase your libido?

We received an email from a member recently shyly admitting that his sex drive had bottomed out completely. He had hooked up with a few women off the site but on both occasions he had been unable to…perform. After we asked him a few questions, we realised that it was diet and routine that was partly to blame.
We’ve all read how diet and exercise can have a massive health benefits but the benefits are not just limited to how you look and feel; they can also directly affect your sex drive. If you’re one of those people on this site who doesn’t have the best diet or exercise routine, you might want to note down the following foods that can help keep your libido topped up.

1. Avocado
Yes on trees they look a bit like testicles so it’s perhaps no coincidence that Avocados contain high amounts of folic acid which help metabolize proteins and giving you more energy. In addition they contain vitamin B6 which increases male hormone production and potassium which helps to regulate the female thyroid gland.

2. Nuts (almonds in particular)
A prime source of essential fatty acids which aid in the production of male hormones. The smell of almonds is supposed to arouse passion in some women, so in either case it’s worth having a bag or two on standby.

3. Celery
What? Seriously, munching on celery is great for the libido. It contains androsterone – a male hormone released normally through perspiration that turns women on. Perfect for sexual stimulation.

4. Oysters (Raw preferred)
A classic libido booster for a reason; they’re high in zinc which increase testosterone and sperm production and also contain dopamine – the hormone known to increase libido in both male and females. Plus the experience of sucking on oysters is kind of erotic. Try feeding them to each other. Guaranteed to end in some mind blowing sex.

5. Bananas
Contains the bromelain enzyme which is supposed to increase libido and in men, reverse impotence. As bananas are also a good source of potassium and B vitamins like riboflavin (which increase the body’s energy levels) it’s worth munching on a few before foreplay commences.

Eat well…fuck better!
All these dieticians who have been on our cases for years about ‘eating well’ and ‘living longer’ actually have a point. And if a change to your diet helps you have better and longer lasting sex with your fuck buddy, it’s definitely worth trying.
