Be honest about the nature of the relationship

When you first hook up it is obvious to both parties that you are just hooking up. There is no expectation of anything more and that is how things stay for a while. Have a conversation about how you feel. Check in with your fuck buddy to reassure her/him that you still are treating this as a no strings relationship and that you continue to have no expectation of anything outside of that. If you start meeting a lot and not having sex it sends the wrong message, so avoid this at all costs. I am not saying that you cannot do other things, but doing too many of those things sans sex will quickly alter the agreement between the two of you which can end in disaster.

The ultimate way to ensure that things remain in the fuck buddy zone is to sleep with someone else. This is more likely to keep your fuck buddy interested as it shows that you are attractive to other people, and it also reminds you both that this is an open relationship. If they are not okay with you sleeping with someone else it means they have already moved outside of the agreement.
