Is being a student all about having sex?

At the point that we finished with our main schooling, we have a choice of going on to do further education, higher education, or going out into the real world and getting a job. In modern life, if we are purely looking at the economics of the choice, and by that I mean the money, it makes no sense to go to university or college and makes total sense to go out there and get a job. The reason for this is losing a minimum of three years of income whilst paying out for those 3 years, really pays itself off in the following decade. Most students come into the real world with a minimum of £30,000 of debt full stop this is a huge amount of money to be owing before you even started earning! So why on earth do people do it? Why do people go to university? I think I have the answer. Sex.

You are geared up to get laid

As a student, you are geared up to getting laid. Don't believe me? Allow me to take you through a point by point the lifestyle of a sexy student.

You are surrounded by single people

This is the first big thing. Environment. You are single and surrounded by thousands of other single people of a similar age. Most of them want to have sex and are open to easy hook ups, becoming f*** buddies, or just the occasional no strings attached liaison with someone else for one night only. This makes getting sex in the first place incredibly easy. The best part is that there are so many people around you looking for it, that you can quickly work your way to multiple people without the difficulty of having to go out and try hard to meet lots of new people. This is one of the most powerful parts and being a student looking for sex.

Everyone has disposable time

When you meet someone you like in the working world, you have to arrange to meet up. After you have worked around peoples work schedule, live schedule, current meeting with friends and families, you may make one meeting a week to begin with. This is a ball ache. When you're a student none of this is an issue. You all have so much disposable time, that if you meet someone you like it's likely they can go out on a date with you there and then… and if it goes well come straight back to yours there and then.

There is a feeling of lack of consequence

If you sleep with someone that you work with, the likelihood is you going to have to look them in the face for the next 5 years. When you're a student this is not an issue. If you sleep with someone as a student to be honest you don't even have to look them in the face for the next five minutes! If you really wanted to you could just leave and probably never see them ever again. This makes people brave in the act of getting laid.

I sometimes wonder if this is the main thing that people miss about being an student, the loss of all that sexual opportunity. Regardless, there is no doubt that being a student is a wonderful time in most people's sex lives.
