Sex like all things that feel good can be highly addictive. There’s a reason there are so many sex addiction clinics popping up globally. The film star Michael Douglas famously checked himself into sex addiction therapy when it began to affect his personal and professional life. Sex addiction has led to relational breakdowns and a lot of heartache and pain for the people involved. But what of casual sex addiction?

Casual sex? MORE MORE MORE!
There’s a point in everyone’s life when they suddenly realise that ‘Hey, I’m not a bad person and people are attracted to me!’ It can happen at age 2 or at age 62, but the moment it happens is the moment you realise your own sexual power. Knowing that you are attractive to people shows through in your body language and chemistry. Without even knowing it you produce subliminal cues designed to make people attracted to you.

It’s great!

It has also led to a lot of causal sex. It’s the reason college students around the world engage in casual sex in so much sex. It’s the reason many busy professionals around the world do the same.

Yet if you’re not careful you can allow it to slowly start taking over your life.

How can you know when you’re addicted?
It’s quite simple to recognise the symptoms actually. Your mind will constantly think about the next conquest. The moment you meet a person you’re attracted to, you will instantly begin thinking about the quickest way to get them into bed. You can’t go without sex for a day or in extreme cases, hours. You start missing work or your professional performance goes down-hill.

Basically sex dominates your thoughts and gradually your life.

Fuck Buddy sex
Fuck buddy sex is great – two people or more coming together to enjoy one another’s bodies is a wonderful thing. However it is just one element to your life. If you start letting it rule your day to day working then you know something is not right.
